Steve’s Car History

This was my first car, a 1961 Sunbeam Alpine.  I was 16 years old and paid all of my summer earnings on it:  $600.  It was a wonderful car.

My second car was not truly mine but my Dad’s .  He did let my drive it a lot though.  It was a 1963 Jaguar Sedan.

My third car was a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda.  It had a 273 cc. V-8 and a light rear end – I burned a lot of rubber in it.

My 4th car was a boring 1967 Plymouth Valiant.  It was given to me and turned out to be a very reliable car.

My 5th car was a 1961 Ford Fairlane (“3 on the tree”) that I bought for 50 bucks off of a farmer in southern Wisconsin.  She ran great until the gas tank broke off, but then I just put the gas tank in the trunk and ran the fuel line through a hole I punched in trunk floor.

My 6th car was a 1967 VW.  A great little car.

I liked the ’67 VW so much that my 7th car was a 1971 VW.

My 8th car was a truck:  a 1971 Toyota pick up.  A great machine.

My 9th car was a truck also – a 1981 Chevy pick up.

My 10th car was a 1986 Toyota Camry (all-wheel drive) – a great little car.

My 11th car was a 1986 Ford F-250.

My 12th car was a 2000- Ford Explorer (Exploder) – a real piece of shit.

My 13th car was a 2010 Toyota Matrix.  A lovely machine.

My 14th (and current) car is a 2013 Subaru Forester.
